New Dimensions FCU looks to feature graduating high school students in 2021!

New Dimensions Federal Credit Union (NDFCU) participates in the Maine Credit Unions Campaign for Ending Hunger, an initiative that ensures people in our Maine communities have access to healthy, nutritious meals.

Unfortunately, the pandemic restrictions have prohibited us from many of our regularly planned fundraising events. Because of that, NDFCU’s Team Teal is thinking out of the box and has found a way to raise funds for the campaign, while also recognizing some amazing graduating high school students. So, we will begin offering Graduating High School Senior Spotlights starting in May.

For a donation of $21 (Class of ’21), we will help honor and recognize the hard work and achievements of the special 2021 graduate in your life with a congratulatory message on our roadside digital signs. For one week (from Monday through Sunday) your graduate will be featured on our digital sign. We encourage you to get photographs of your graduate when his or her name displays on the screen. What a great keepsake that will make for you and your family.

Here is how it works:

Between May 10th – June 25th, make a tax-deductible online donation to the Ending Hunger in Maine campaign by going to the following website: https://campaignforendinghunger.org/newdimensionsfcu/

After you have made your donation, send a screenshot of your confirmation, or forward the email you will receive to info@newdimensionsfcu.com. Be sure to include the name of your graduate and the name of their high school so we can upload their name and school onto our digital sign. Please note your graduate’s name will be uploaded to the digital sign closest to their school. (For example, Waterville High School graduates will be uploaded to our Silver Street location digital sign, while Winslow graduates will be upload to the digital sign at our Winslow branch location.) If you do not want to use the online process you can make your donation by stopping by any branch location to fill out one of our brief High School Senior Spotlight forms. Names and schools must be submitted on Friday to make the Monday deadline. All names submitted after 12 noon on Monday will be uploaded the following Monday.

We are excited to help celebrate the class of 2021 in a way that celebrates their accomplishments and assists local families in continuing to receive the food that they need.
