Our Mission:
Providing our members with excellent benefits and services while promoting the uniqueness of the credit union philosophy. Field of Membership:
Our field of membership includes: Persons who live, work, worship, or attend school in, and businesses and other legal entities located in the counties of Kennebec and Somerset,
Maine; and, also included are spouses of persons who died while within the field of membership of this credit union, employees of this credit union, members of their
immediate family* or household**, and organizations of such persons.
* "immediate family" members are defined as grandparents, parents, stepparents, spouses, siblings, step siblings, children, stepchildren, adopted children, and grandchildren.
** "household" is defined as persons living in the same residence and who maintain a single
economic unit, including family members, domestic partners, foster children, and legal guardian relationships.Community Involvement
New Dimensions FCU is an active participant in fund raisers designed to benefit the people of Maine. Three of
our major fundraisers include the Maine Children's Cancer Program, Special Olympics and Ending Hunger in Maine.
The fundraiser to
benefit Ending
Hunger in Maine is
an ongoing project.
New Dimensions FCU
was successful in
raising $1538.94 in
2006 for Ending
Hunger in Maine and
$1,492.93 in 2007.
The Maine Children's
Cancer Program has
been an annual fund
raiser for the
credit union for the
past five years. In
2006, New Dimensions FCU was able to
raise $3,385.46 to
benefit this cause,
and $2170.59 in
2007.
Special Olympics
is the newest
program for which
the credit union is
raising money. New
Dimensions FCU
received a gold
medal for raising
$2,581.74 for Special Olympics in 2007.
The credit union has various fund raising events throughout the year. Some of these include: bake sales
and soup days, Harvest Festival, banks and candy bar sales, and donations from members.
New Dimensions FCU appreciates all the help and support that we receive from our membership and the community.
